Who Doesn’t Want Good Skin?

Last year I turned 40 (Shhhh…..don’t tell anyone)!  I’ve always been told that I have great natural skin!  I have to say, I can’t take credit for it!  Between my grandmothers and my mother, it’s definitely something that I got from them!  But as time goes on, I’ve found you must do a little more then just quick washes, toners and lotions in the morning!  To be honest, I’ve never had a good night time routine!   The past 20 years, I’ve always been on the go with coaching volleyball and would come in after practice late at night (typically between 10pm-11pm) and all I want to do is go to bed!  Cause the next morning I was up again at 5:15am and would do it all over again!  

Needless to say, I think it’s catching up with me!  Plus, I used to spend a lot of time out in the sun, much more than I am these days, so even though I’d do my best to protect my face and skin, I know I have some sun damage!

So I have decided that before my next birthday, I would have to get serious about my skin!  Especially if I want to have the same beautiful skin as those before me!  I’ve been able to get by using the inexpensive drugstore skincare products for most of my life.  Even though I’ve had sensitive skin to a lot of different products, I have found some that do work just fine.  But let’s be honest, the older you get, the more important it is to use something that is going to be more effective that contains the “good stuff”!  Especially since I’m not a big makeup person!  I don’t wear make up often unless it’s for a night out or a special occasion.  I’m someone who wears very minimal makeup.
